I am aretired Telecommunications Engineer and Internaional Telecommunications Contractor with a life-long obsession with fishing. I was born and raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida a small fishing community on the West Coast of the Gulf of Mexico. During my Telecommunications career I was an electronics instructor; where I became a certified curriculum developer. I acquired writing and publishing skills; which I use to write and publish informative Ebooks.

As noted on the Website, I also tie and sell Saltwater and Freswater fishing Flys. The fishing flys have a special feature that solves a age old fishing problem - they sre weedlees! The colors are derived from a very famous conventional lure, the Mirr-O-Lure. This is how I came up with the site name "Mirofly".

I joined US Navy Seabees and served two (2) tours in Viet Nam in forward combat areas from 1967 - 1969. I used the GI Bill to get a Technical Degree in Electronics and an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. I used the education to qulify for a job with GTE Telecommunications, retiring in 1997 with 26 years of service.

The various Ebooks contain information gained from my life experiences; including plans for a DIY Workbench used to build and custom fit Golfclubs in my garage. The fishing adventures include a trip my son and I took in Kayaks through the Florida Everglades. I hope you will visit and enjoy the Ebooks on our Website.
